Letter from the author
Hey ClimateAction.Tech Community,
Think about it: so many of us found our climate calling after becoming developers. What if we could flip that, and get new developers focused on it from the very beginning?
That's the vision behind my new book, designed to guide beginners in software development with a strong emphasis on "code for good" and addressing the climate crisis. It's about becoming a software developer with a clear mission from day one.
We can debate the role of AI in software development, but one thing is certain: technological progress is unstoppable. AI will shape our future. The question is, how do we ensure it's used for good? By inspiring more developers to enter the field with a climate-focused mindset, we can increase the number of tech professionals using these powerful tools to build a sustainable future.
This book isn't primarily for you, the experienced developers. It's for the next generation. However, I need your help to make it a success.
I'm sharing a free version of my book with you. Also, you can find a short summary of the book and chapters highlighting ClimateAction.Tech, and my personal climate journey here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1asRauWhRONpw4DJukEy5pU0Qy8C9g75I&usp=drive_fs
Please leave an honest review on Amazon (or Goodreads, or both!). Every review counts since I need hundreds for a successful start. Feel free to share this book with anyone you know who's interested in becoming a software developer.
While you don't need to purchase the book to leave a review on Amazon, a verified purchase review carries more weight with Amazon's algorithms. I've set the price as low as possible for a book of this size.
Reviews from any country are crucial! The book is available on regional Amazon marketplaces.
I believe this book will inspire new developers to find their mission in fighting climate change and ultimately join the impactful work happening here at ClimateAction.Tech.
Thank you for your support!
